Chelsea Murdock, PhD

Assistant Director

After earning my BA in English at Kennesaw State, I went to the waving wheat at the University of Kansas (Rock Chalk!) to earn my PhD in Composition and Rhetoric. My research focuses on indigenous and cultural rhetorics, material and visual culture, and participatory culture. Generally, I put things (like materials and spaces) into conversation to see how they relate-- and how they don't. Things I am a fan of: a plot that actually keeps me guessing, really loud thunder, sci-fi, and good music. I’m excited to be a professional tutor at the Georgia Tech Communication Center!
