I love living in Atlanta but I'm originally from a small town in rural mid-Illinois. After my BA I moved to Istanbul and then Ankara, Turkey where I taught English for 3 years. After my MA, I worked as an editor/writer in Seoul, South Korea and then did my PhD on medieval literature at the University of Tennessee--Knoxville. I read a lot of science fiction/fantasy, watch far too many TV series and movies, and spoil my tabby cat more than is good for him. More fun facts: I appear in a little known K-pop music video; I spent a semester in Holland as an undergrad; I held my school's 2 mile record for 1 year (then my best friend beat me); I hate spiders but I don't runaway from them--I hunt them down; my first major was Nuclear Engineering...but my math skills weren't good enough. But that's good for you because instead of solving the world's energy problems, I can help with your communication needs.
