I’m originally from Chennai- a city famous for its rich Hindu culture and temples as well as being a booming software and automotive powerhouse of India but I’ve lived in Dubai since I was 3 years old. I’ve grown accustomed to “Oh! You’re from Dubai? Do you have a gold car??” and other similar awe-struck questions people ask me when I tell them where I’m from. I didn’t have a gold car but I had a golden time with a great bunch of friends, got through those SATs (*sob*) and I’m here at Tech studying Aerospace Engineering with a minor in Energy Systems. I have a goal to engineer smart and efficient and I’m currently researching new commercial wing concepts that can reduce fuel usage and noise pollution. Outside of academics and research, I was a sports columnist for the Technique and play for the Georgia Tech Cricket Club.
I love teaching and communication and I am excited to work here at the Communication Center to help students “spice” up their written and oral communication skills. In my free time, I enjoy travelling, guitar, karaoke and occasionally entertaining my roommates with impromptu comedy sessions.
