The Communication Center invites faculty members to encourage students to make use of our services by making consultant-led class visits and tours a part of their courses. To request a class visit or tour, send an email at least 2 weeks in advance to commlab@gatech.edu with your course number/title, number of students, and preferred days/times. Let us know too what your assignment your students will be working on at the time, and we can speak to how we can support that work specifically.
Class Tours
Bring your class to the Communication Center to see the space and hear from one of our consultants about our services. On the tour your students will learn what kind of projects we can support, what happens in a tutoring session, what kinds of appointments we offer, and how to make an appointment. Students will also get to see our tutoring spaces and our presentation rehearsal rooms. Tours usually last 20-25 minutes and faculty typically schedule them for the beginning or end of their class.
Class Visits
